Update on Gino!

Gino is almost a year now, he was born February 19, 2009, the funny thing is that he was born on the day I lost my pug Billy of 15 years. Billy was a Miracle dog as he was never supposed to make it past a year as he had a heart condition that later went away and we were blessed to have him for 15 beautiful years. Billy was put down last February 19, 2009, so I have no doubt that Gino is our Miracle dog also, as we looked at many pugs and passed them all up and then when we seen Gino we knew he was the one for us. Never thinking about the dates until much later when we realized that Gino was born on the same day our Billy went to Rainbow Bridge. So come this February 19th, it will be a happy and sad day. Happy that we celebrate our Gino's birthday but sad that we miss our Billy Boy so much. He is first in our hearts always and we feel he sent Gino our way with a little help of course....(;

Gino is on the bigger side for a pug, he is tall and very strong, loves to chew everything he can get his hands on. All his toys he has chewed up....guess we know what he will be getting for his birthday, new toys with no stuffing in them.....(;

I put up a few updated pics of Gino, in the one picture I crochet him a hat and sweater. The other pics of him show his wonderful personality. I hope you enjoy seeing his updated pictures.

Is it Friday yet???

I have been very busy today re-organizing my studio, I have over 50 years of accumlation in there so this gives you an idea of how much stuff I have. I have decided to elimating everything but what I love to do the most and that is my beading, painting, scrapbooking and knitting. Anthing I think I can sell I will put on my ETSY shop, the rest my daughter will take or it will be donated.

I finally have my tables set up the way I like them, one for beading and one for painting, which will give a nice work area for both. I will take pictures when it is completed and put them on for all to see.

It is finally Friday, I took a day off yesterday from working and just went out and enjoyed the day. I shopped till I dropped at the craft store buying what esle but more beading supplies. (;
I then went out to dinner and for a nice long ride, the day was beautiful out so a nice day to enjoy the a summer day.

I can't believe the end of July is here already!! August begins tomorrow, everytime I think of August I find my self realizing I have to get busy with my painting for Halloween and Christmas, my two favorite holidays. This year I have decided to paint mostly ornaments since I enjoy doing them so much. Be sure to look for these in my ETSY shops in the coming weeks.
